Most people know the freedom of road riding, but few understand the romance of off-road motorcycle riders. For countless off-road and ADV riders, the smooth asphalt roads in the city are never the destination. What we yearn for are rugged mountain trails, winding forest paths, muddy gravel roads, and the wild and untamed wilderness that most people never set foot in.
Urban riding is for escaping trivial life, while off-road riding is for confronting ourselves bravely. On flat city roads, we feel the ease of riding with the wind, but in the mountains and wilderness full of obstacles, we truly understand the meaning of persistence, breakthrough and transcendence. Off-road riding has no neat road surfaces, no fixed routes, and no bustling crowds. There are only uneven roads, slippery mud pits, rugged steep slopes, and unknown journeys ahead.
Every off-road ride is a tough test. You will encounter muddy roads that trap the wheels, steep slopes that test driving skills, bumpy gravel roads that shake your whole body, and sudden crosswinds and rainy weather in the mountains. Many times, we fall down covered in mud, struggle to push the car out of the quagmire, gasp for breath on the steep slopes, and even feel tired and hesitant in the lonely wilderness. But we never give up, because this is the unique charm of off-road riding.
Unlike road riding that pursues comfort and speed, off-road riding pursues breakthroughs again and again. Every successful climb over a steep slope, every smooth passage through a muddy road, and every safe crossing of a rugged forest trail is a victory over ourselves. In the wild mountains and forests, we abandon all impetuosity, calm down to judge the road conditions, adjust our posture steadily, and control every throttle and every direction precisely. This state of focus and persistence is impossible to experience in urban life.
Off-road riding teaches us to embrace imperfection and fear no hardships. The wilderness never pampers anyone. It will not be smooth because of your efforts, nor will it be gentle because of your persistence. It allows us to truly feel the most authentic connection between people and motorcycles, between people and nature. The motorcycle covered in mud is not embarrassed, but the most glorious medal of a rider; the tired and sweaty body is not a burden, but the best proof of chasing freedom.
Many people think off-road riding is rough and dangerous, but only off-road riders know that this is the purest form of riding. There are no traffic lights, no urban constraints, no utilitarian comparisons. Only you, your motorcycle, and the vast wilderness. In the mountains, all worldly troubles and work anxieties will be completely washed away by the mountain wind and rain. What remains is the purest love and the most unyielding spirit.
ADV riders cross mountains and rivers to explore the unknown distance; enduro riders shuttle through dense forests to feel the wild vitality of nature. We love off-road riding, not for showing off, but because only in the rugged wilderness can we get rid of the shackles of urban life and find the bravest self.
The road in the city is smooth and neat, but it cannot accommodate our longing for the wilderness. The mountains and rivers are rugged and difficult, but they carry all our passion and dreams. May every off-road rider fear no mud and no distance, cross mountains and seas with love, and always keep the wild and hot original heart in every rough journey.
